We’re excited to announce our next graphic novel release for Autumn 2025 –
Who Killed Nessie? by Paul Cornell and Rachael Smith.
Out September 2025!
104 pages, paperback, full colour throughout, 168x239mm
The Loch Ness Monster has been murdered . . . it’s Lyndsay’s first day on the job, but it’s up to her to solve the crime!
It’s Lyndsay Grockle’s first day as the manager of the Lakeview Hotel. Her boss has handed her the keys and departed for vacation. And then the convention attendees start showing up, each more peculiar than the last. Lyndsay’s a confirmed skeptic—so she’s surprised to be woken up in the middle of the night by her convention attendees, telling her that there’s been a murder . . . of the Loch Ness Monster. The guests at the hotel are all cryptids from around the world, and now one of them is dead. Which means that one of them must be the murderer.
And it’s up to Lyndsay to solve the case!

said of the new title:
“Rachael Smith and Paul Cornell want to do a book with us..? Hell yes!”
We were absolutely delighted to be able to work with Rachael on what is now our third book with
her (after The Rabbit and Artificial Flowers). She’s a tremendous talent in British comics and also
one of our favourite people. Whilst we’ve always considered her to be a great writer, working with
Paul Cornell has allowed her to fully concentrate on the art and we think she’s levelled up with this
book, especially in her line art and colouring, which are both the best tI’ve seen from her.
As for the writing, Paul’s script is both hilarious and touching. I’ve been a big fan of his for some
time and I’m not going to lie, one of the major attractions of doing Nessie was the opportunity of
having chats with THE Paul Cornell about Doctor Who and Captain Britain!
